This “Senior Home Care Ohio” blog serves as a open forum to discuss all issues regarding the care and well-being of seniors. Perhaps more directly, this blog serves as a platform for continuous dialog for the caregiving adults who have the responsibility of taking care of an aging senior, perhaps a parent, that may be in need of assistance. Of course, options that enable seniors to stay in their homes as opposed to having to go to an Assisted Living Centers or Nursing Homes will be discussed. But in addition, senior specific issues regarding elder law; working through sibling relationships; issues regarding assistance with daily living needs; arranging moves for seniors; and getting assistance with any of these issues while not missing time on the job are all viable discussion topics. Over the next week or so, I will begin posting bits of information on these topics for consideration and discussion. I look forward to the dialog

We begin by reviewing your needs through discussions with involved family members; when necessary we consult with the physician(s) of the care recipient, social workers, hospitals, or nursing home staff.
Next, working in conjunction with the family, we develop an individualized program to manage your daily needs. We match your needs to the best possible caregiver, bring them to your home and ask you to participate in the selection process.
After the caregiver has been placed in your home, we continue our unique system of continued personalized contacts through telephone check-in, home visits. Most important, we continually communicate with the caregiver who is providing care to you.
